Itinerary Pick up from from Scindia House Cannaught Place by A/c 11 seater Coach / Or Pick up from the Airport or Delhi Hotel in case of Private A/c Indica Car and drive to the “Pick City “ (265 kms) four hour drive.
Visit the impressive Amber Fort and Palace en route. Amber Fort and Palace is situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur city.
The Fort completed in the early 18th century took over a hundred years to build and now offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the royal families.
Visit the City Palace still home to the Maharaja although several rooms are open to public. It also houses a museum with many antiques and artifacts belonging to the Royal family including a collection of weapons.
Then visit Jantar Mantar, the open air observatory constructed by Sawai Jai Singh, and biggest of the five made by him.
Take a break for lunch and then proceed for sightseeing. Post lunch visit Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds which was constructed for the ladies of the Royal family to watch the processions passing through the streets below without being seen. It is the most famous landmark of the city of the Rajputs and stands in the middle of a bustling old market with streets spreading out in different directions.
Jaipur is a shopper’s paradise with a rich collection of arts and crafts, textiles, antique and silver jewellery, marble statues and many other handicraft items that can be picked up as gifts or memorabilia.
